• Opportunity to troubleshoot a specific behaviour

• Behaviour strategies provided

• Written summary following session

• 15 minutes of daily text/email support for 1 week

In ABA, we will work on learning new skills (and sometimes learning replacement behaviours to decrease the need for challenging or unsafe ones). Areas of focus might include (not limited to):

- language building

- social interaction

- routines

- life skills (i.e. brushing hair/teeth, grocery shopping)

- pre-academic and academic skills (e.g. independent work)

- self advocacy.

In ABA, we aim to follow the child's lead and teach goals through activities the child is interested in.

In this pre-recorded workshop, we will look at the WHY (or "function") behind behaviour and how this relates to our children's behaviours.
