Hi, I'm Alisa! I'm a board certified behaviour analyst and mom of 2 little ones. My aim is to provide  children and their families with behavioural support and skill development that is compassionate, research-backed, and that suits your family's style, cultural background, and values. I also specialize in helping autistic children, children with communication delays, and children with developmental and intellectual disabilities. Support may look like: caregiver support/coaching or 1:1 behavioural therapy using the principles of applied behaviour analysis. Some of the areas I can help with include: routines, adjusting to change, language and communication, learning and pre-academic skills, emotional regulation, self-care, toilet training, picky eating, social skills, decreasing unwanted or unsafe behaviour (e.g. aggression, tantrums, self-injury, etc.) and more.

My education includes a Masters of Applied Disability Studies from Brock University in Ontario, Canada (2016) and board certification from the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB) (2018). I have worked with children and their families providing 1:1 behavioural therapy and caregiver training in clinic, home and community settings and have also supervised client programming and staff implementation. Since becoming a parent myself, I have developed a passion for helping families find research-backed behavioural strategies that will help their family thrive!
